The Golden Designs GDI-8020-03 is a 2-person 2025 Reserve Edition full spectrum infrared sauna from the 8000 series, featuring PureTech™ Near Zero EMF heating, a Himalayan salt bar, red light therapy, and an interior touch screen control panel — all in a larger Canadian hemlock cabinet with a dedicated roof vent.
Constructed from environmentally-friendly Canadian hemlock planks with clasp-together DIY assembly for two adults. The built-in Himalayan salt bar releases minerals when heated, complementing each session with purified cabin air.

How Does the GDI-8020-03 Compare to the GDI-8010-03? ▼
The GDI-8020-03 is the newer, larger, and more powerful model in the Reserve Edition line. It adds a sixth heater (one extra Near IR element), steps up to a touch screen control panel, and comes in a noticeably bigger cabinet — 43″ × 36″ interior vs 36″ × 32″ on the GDI-8010-03 — making it a noticeably roomier 2-person experience. It also includes a roof vent and ships with confirmed weight specs (350 lbs sauna / 420 lbs shipping). The trade-off is that the GDI-8020-03 drops the physical FM radio in favor of Bluetooth and MP3 aux only. If you want the most current Reserve Edition 2-person model with more heat output and more room, the GDI-8020-03 is the upgrade; if you prefer a more compact footprint at a lower price point, the GDI-8010-03 remains a strong option.
